Ellos Group AB, corp. i.d. 556217-1925, Ödesgärdsgatan 6, 501 86 Borås, Sweden (”Jotex”) processes personal data in accordance with applicable law, including EU’s General Data Protection Regulation. The terms “we, ours, our and us” below refer to Jotex.

The information that is processed is personal data that you submit to us, which is collected from you and which we receive about you from third parties.
When you make a purchase, register for our newsletter, register a user account, take out insurance, use the services on our site, our social media or claim your rights according to consumer legislation you will submit personal data to us. Personal data about you that we receive from third parties Jotex may receive emails and other correspondence that includes personal data about third parties and Jotex therefore processes such personal data. If required Jotex will inform you as a third party regarding the processing.
For customer service and administration of customer relationship We process names, addresses, personal i.d. number, cell and telephone numbers, e-mail address, purchase history and recorded audio files from your contact with us for the purpose of providing you with good customer service and to manage our customer relationship with you. The legal basis for our processing of your personal data is that it is necessary for us to fulfil our agreement with you or to take measures prior to entering into such agreement, or our legitimate interest of providing good service in the event you are not a customer with us. Our interest of processing your personal data for this purpose takes precedence over your possible interest of protecting your personal privacy. If you do not provide the above-mentioned personal data, we will not have the possibility to deliver our products to you or otherwise fulfil our undertakings towards you.

The legal basis for our processing of your personal data is our legitimate interest in keeping statistics and thereby developing our operations. We process name, address, cell and telephone numbers, e-mail address and purchase history to be able to handle your possible request for return of products or claim your rights as a consumer to assert any applicable fault and delay liability against us. The legal basis for our processing of your personal data is that it is necessary to fulfil legal undertakings imposed on us in accordance with the consumer legislation.

Your personal data can be shared and processed by companies that are a part of the Ellos Group of Companies.
Jotex may also share your personal data with third parties. Examples of third parties that we may share your personal data with are freight forwarders in connection with the delivery of goods, media agencies for distribution of newsletters, collaboration partners for marketing, credit checking companies or debt collection firms as well as law firms for handling of legal issues in our operations.
If you make a purchase on credit we may also share your personal data with Resurs Bank AB. All of these operators are independently responsible for their processing of your personal data. Jotex may share your personal data with service providers and collaboration partners that process personal data on our behalf, so-called personal data processors. We have agreements with our personal data processors that ensure that they process your personal data in accordance with this personal data policy and our instructions.
Jotex may share your personal data with authorities that require that Jotex disclose such personal data. Jotex may also share your personal data in order to allow a merger, an acquisition or a sale of all, or parts of Jotex assets.
As a general rule, Jotex will only processes your personal data within the EU and EEA. Should personal data be processed outside of the EU or EEA, we will take measures to ensure that the transfer is legal and that your data remains protected by the receiving parties outside of the EU/EEA.
We only process personal data for as long as it is necessary for the purposes for which the information was submitted or collected. The same personal data may be stored in several different places for different purposes. This can mean that information that has been removed from a system because it is no longer necessary for that purpose can remain in another system for another purpose where the personal data is still required. Personal data that we process for customer service and to manage your customer relationship is processed for the period necessary to be able to fulfil our agreement with you or as long as we have a legitimate interest in processing the information. Recorded conversations with you are processed for three months.
Personal data that we process to be able to grant credit is processed for the time necessary to fulfil our agreement with you.
Personal data that we process for marketing is processed until you revoke your consent, unsubscribe or otherwise request that we stop contacting you. In connection with this, we will also, to the extent possible, delete the personal data that we process about you related to automated decision making and/or profiling.
Personal data that we process to collect statistics is processed until such time as the relevant accounting material has been deleted, specifically for 7 years. Personal data that we process to fulfil our legal obligations towards you e.g. fulfil warranty, claim or cancellation obligations, will be processed during the time we are legally bound by these obligations.
Personal data that we process for accounting purposes is processed for seven years in accordance with applicable accounting legislation. Your personal data may be saved for a longer period than what is specified above if it is required to comply with legal requirements of the law, regulations or government decisions.
When we process your personal data, you have certain rights according to law. Please note that the exercising of these rights is subject to certain requirements and conditions specified by law (EU’s General Data Protection Regulation). Right to information, access, correction and deletion etc. You have the right to at no cost request information, in writing, about the personal data we process about you. You can, at any time, request corrections of incorrect information and you may also have the right to request that we delete the personal data we have registered about you, request that the processing be restricted and request that we provide you with a copy of the personal data. If you do not have any grounds for your request or if your request is unreasonable, e.g. if you frequently and at short intervals request excerpts or deletions, we have the right to refuse your request or charge a fee that covers the administrative costs incurred by your request.
You may have the right to obtain personal data relating to you and that you have provided to us in a structured, widely used and machine-readable format and have the right to transfer this personal data to another personal data controller.
You may, at any time, object to your personal data being processed for direct marketing or profiling for such purposes. If you do not want us to process your personal data for this/these purpose(s), we ask that you notify us of this by contacting us at our contact information provided below, see clause
7. We will then cease processing your personal data for this/these purpose(s) and delete your personal data, provided that we do not need them for any other purpose in accordance with this personal data policy.
